A few days ago I had a discussion here, and I was trying to learn the logic behind certain gunsmithing builds, why we use certain parts over the others, etc, and it was made clear to me that we build some guns for an overall balanced stat in every field (someone said the KN44 is a good example of this), while for others, we build them by maximizing a certain stat or two (like ADS time or something). I know one important thing is the playstyle, but I'm wondering what else goes into it

Trying to learn why we prioritize attachment A over B on gun X, but B over A on gun Y, even when you follow the same playstlye.

sks for starters is semi auto

most semi autos are flinch stack

excluding some like xpr and rytec since they play better as quickscope guns

50gs is kinda like put some range and add more range/bsa

m4 is kinda built for flex

or passive flex

rpd is just built for passive

and bsa stack to compensate for ccb decreasing bsa

cx9, just give it range and would want to have fast strafe

or stack range if you use 12r HP just because to maximize 1 burst range

I just tested. So Semtex has larger AOE, same damage as frag but less throwing range and you can't cook. Indeed seems better for some modes.
