basically the faster the bv the less delay there is between the moment you shoot and the moment the bullet hits the enemy

the delay is more noticable in long ranges so you will have to do some prediction based on the sr’s bv

hitscan, which is the opposite of bv, is when you shoot and it immediately damages/kills the opponent

some guns have bv because they would be way too good without it
