Fully honest, that’s still a very vague answer

“Good enough ADS time for ranked” can vary depending on the person given how fast they play. Generally slower players who sit back and beam people will not mind a slower ADS time, slower mobility insofar as they get good range, bsa, and low recoil. Faster paced players will want a faster ADS time and faster mobility which may sacrifice bsa, range, and recoil to a degree

QQ9 I don’t think needs to be built for recoil, the standard build for the very few pro players who use the weapon actually make the recoil a bit more difficult to control.

CX9 probably just needs the CX-38S barrel and then you’re free to do whatever you want

Yeah, probably not the answer you want to hear. However, I’m just generally not the type of person who determines whether a weapon is good or not purely from stats as I want to have some serious performance testing to validate those stats.

Stats-wise, Bruen seems rather solid as an AR/LMG hybrid

Ultimately, I’d argue that SMGs are meant to be close range weapons that can still somewhat beam to win mid-range fights against either other SMGs or just backstabbing an AR.

In the current meta, I can tell you that almost every SMG right now has some form of range extension from the base either by use of a barrel, monolithic suppressor (or its equivalent), or both. Usually, these attachments tend to make your ADS time slower, and improve recoil in some manner. However, as the pace of ARs are becoming faster, it is imperative for SMGs to maintain their identity by overall being a faster-paced weapon by a significant margin by having faster mobility, faster ADS, etc.

So TL;DR recoil control and bsa is important insofar as it helps you hit your shots but you shouldn’t compensate too much on ADS time, mobility, and range.
