Correct. If you’re using a melee there will be no different whatsoever, pistol and launcher will have some difference. Amped enhances the speed of which you switch to your main gun from your secondary. Snipers and LMGs in particular tend to have a longer time making this transition than other weapon types, as weapon weight does affect this.
