Whichever creator is telling don't claim baton or any one of the 'completed-shards' weapon(s), either way if u don't claim, you will receive waste baton shards or the one(s) which are already completed. If you are getting coins instead of shards, it either means it's either a replacement of completed shards or just coins coming out of the probability of drops from crates. Plus point is you can actually spend the coins in the store in the next season as well!
