It's a method on android phones only, where you have to open the game from a feature called "floating windows shortcut".

what happens is it makes your game goes into 4:3 resolution and stretch it out and make it look wide, so it's a phone related thing not related to the game at all.

also be careful if you plan to do it, it messes up your hud and sensitivity speed a little, since you changed the resolution of the game, so make sure you remap your things in new resolution.

I highly recommend you do it, it's amazing to go in visually wider screens.
