I usually use the second or third attack, to determine what the thought process is of the enemy. If they use the first move, and I use the second, i get a point, then next turn they are likely to change to the 3rd attack cuz they will think I'll still use the 2nd, but for safety I'll use the third attack so it will draw.

Then third turn he will think I'll use the first attack cuz I used 2 and 3, so I'll counter by using 2nd

That's how mental warfare works.
