things to think about:

1. money in the future

do you want to secure a floor in salary and quality of life (something like a comp sci degree + 1-2 internships allows you to more or less put good food on the table, not worry about rent), so you could spend the next 2-3-4 years after the degree finding yourself, knowing that you can always fallback on a high value skillset & degree

2. commitment / pivot opportunities

some majors are easy to pivot from, or from the start allow you to go to many different directions (business for example; math gives u way into lots of engineering paths etc; interestingly enough law can get you into finance, but thats not a degree id consider flexible). the problem is that if you do business and not specialize in anything its not gonna be too useful (but you can specialize AND still pivot relatively easily)

3. money now

working during med school is very, very hard; working doing just business is possible

4. how hard working you are, what type of work life balance you want / can tolerate

if you with 100% certainty know you wont handle a profession - dont get a degree there, sounds obvious, but do consider it

5. how social you are / how much "chance" are you willing to take

to become a banker / get a job in private equity you have to do networking this and interview prep that and gpa this and take a chance on that etc - you might start thinking you'll go into PE only to end up doing fixed income
as a med grad you can more or less find a job

6. how much negativity can you handle

med has blood and trauma and death
business has world news you gotta keep track of, politics
law is well.. conflict
doing software engineering can be way more peaceful

generally - if deep down you know you can do medicine and you dont mind that as a career (kind of like it, or the idea of helping people, i know very few people who actually love what they do, especially all that they do) - go for it, take one 1-2 personal finance classes and you'll be fine
