most combat happens mid to short range anyway. long range combat is easy to dodge or avoid when you are using a qq9. Just get close to the long range campers with ARs and Snipers. QQ9 is versatile, Ak is not. In Medium to Short range, AK won't work as well as QQ9, although it is good in long, but QQ9 works great in medium-short and decently in long. Period.
