Okay, I had a similar issue, I could still launch the game though but I didn't have access to the old email and couldnt change the associated email of the account. I did eventually fix it though. Just to be clear this has to be done through the official support website. You cannot get into direct contact from this Discord or any way. I managed to resolve it with them by making a ticket and clearly stating my issue, stating that I did own the game on Steam with proof that I couldn't play it anymore. I offered to show them my game key and thereby proof of ownership and they let me transfer it to another email address.
