Things that happened pre-GTA VI don’t count anymore. The way games are marketed now is just different. They did 4 trailers for GTA VI including a launch trailer. GTA V followed something similar including a gameplay trailer.

Back in the PS2 era they could make games pretty quickly. Before HD and before 4K and 120fps. Games just didn’t take a long development. But things have changed.

( all of this is Undead Nightmare ) so basically my game said my current mission is on “Birth of the Conversation Movement”, after i finished the mission i took a long break from RDR1. i just got back on. the game wont let me progress at all, despite finishing Birth of the Conversation Movement.

i also have evidence i completed the mission

i don’t know why it’s doing this, i’m so close to just saying “fuck it” and restarting entirely

Yeah Undead Nightmare is kinda buggy try these before restarting

Replay the mission if it’s available

Load an earlier save (if you have one)

Manual save reload or restart the game

Sleep a few times in game to force progression

Fast travel / do a side mission to trigger the next event

Clear cache / restart your console (helps with glitches sometimes)

Disconnect and reconnect online (if applicable)

If none of that works it might be a hard bug restarting could be the only fix

the only events in game are random stranger activities, mythical creature spawns, and clearing towns. i heard that after you finish “Birth of the Conversation Movement”, you have to complete the Undead Hunter outfit in order to proceed. i already had two requirements done, so i needed to do the Missing Souls mission. which requires you to go to Fort Mercer and grab a bounty. i went there and there was no bounty for me to pick up.

Restart your console / clear cache

If the bounty still doesn’t show up after all that the game might be stuck Undead Nightmare can be buggy like that
