I feel like my only complaint so far besides some small bugs is the lackluster repair system.
Looking straight at something and holding f just feels so slow
I would suggest to either go for skill checks for a more interactive repair system or have something like a space engineers repair where you still get to move around while repairing

Some repairs have a minigame (usually full components) where others such as the radiator are just "hold F". The minigame is usually on those that cost materia to repair and have the potential to permanently break if left broken iirc.

That exactly what Coulianos said on the second last Q&A "currently the repair you juste have to press a button and that it".
I think that what you suggest is part of the combat ship and maintenance revamp on the next summer update.
Let's get some internal explosions too. Loss of gravity, having to run emergency power.
Technically devs said it's really easy to loss gravity on the ship but what is the gameplay behind? Swim slowly will the ship is being destroyed?
Also, we can argue that we have magnetic boot anyway.

I mean internally to the ship. Imagine trying to run to the bunks where fire always starts and the whole cargo deck doesn't have gravity.

Still I don't imagine a fun gameplay of having no gravity on the cargo deck. What do you thinking ?
