Hello,

Railgun and Rocket Launcher should one shot all ground enemies.

Railgun and Rocket Launcher currently do amazing damage to ships, yet when taken to deal with high health pool ground enemies they deal tickle damage. For high damage weapons with only a few uses per item they should be able to one shot all of the high health ground targets, especially considering they one shot ships.

Same. Bringing a shoulder-launcher to deal with high-threat, high-health ground targets is 100% intuitive, and 100% wrong - it can be 200% wrong, since the shoulder launcher is capable of 1-shotting the player firing it with splash damage (or a friend...) with its splash.

If this thing costs 400 credits per shot, it should dumpster any ground threats without question.

Definitely agree, considering it can one shot those fighters, and considerably damage gunships

Crazier idea, let me lock onto allies who are flying in space.

how about no

Honestly, they could reduce the number of guns in the game by giving a selector switch. The two assault rifles could just become one, for example.

#

I'd rather that the shoulder launcher be able to lock onto big enough ground robots, though. Basically a "this thing is big enough we recommend using this to kill it" signal.

that thing is annoyingly always taking up space

The tool weapon is a weapon of last resort, because it's (a) also what you use for interacting with stuff, and (b) has infinite ammo.

#

And I'd rather firearms guns have a selector switch, because every friggin' gun made does!

Not to be pedantic but it's only assault rifles which typically have selector switches, all other weapons have safety switches.

#

Unless the sniper rifle I used to serve with had a fully automatic mode.

#

If it did... fuck I missed out

You mean burst fire and Semi or Auto?

misty coyote
#

burst is pretty rare

Burst is pretty inaccurate so...

misty coyote
#

Depends on your skill level, but typically the recoil does cause inaccuracy when you increase your fire rate even with semi automatic

is oneshotting non-heavy-enemies too weak for you?

have you ever tried it?

Yes

Have you tried the assault rifle with the same investment of suit power and artifact bonus?

i think you are missing the point

Please explain your point then. You seemed to have stated that you never need a weapon other than the pistol

it was an off-topic tangent how with the right setup the tool can become a weapon that you can just use for the entire mission, saving ammo and inventory space
if i see the on-foot damage artefact, I spec into the tool, go into the mission and just have fun with it. 10 shots, infinite ammo, and u just shred everything
you have 3 slots open for loot, and it is just convenient.
my weapons are on a shelf in the ship
