WOW! What a low act. I support name & shame if truly intentional.
ya he kicked us all before the end, i think his nick was Blood? i'm not 100% though...
ya it was "Blood" another of the guys who was kick confirmed it
Definitely something that needs to be resolved by next update
Some people just want to see two hours of your effort gone to be sadistic and feel power 🦵
Jerks
So, i am happy to name and & shame toxic hosts who do this. My case in point being kicked just before the return home jump on a 1hr endless run: cuffedcargos
What worse about this the game give everyone a copy of your earned loot! So honestly he was probably trying to steal and guns yall put down during the final op.
Hey! Funny how you only clip the kick itself and none of the disrespect beforehand😂 Respectfully please only cry if you’re a victim.
Quick Edit: Idc if it’s the 2nd mission or the last, if u put me in a position where I feel as if I need to kick, then by god I will! 🙂
I very much doubt it was to avoid splitting loot, and there'd be no point to kick to try and take the weapons people put down - they already put em down, you can just take them.
It'd be good to have times when players can't be kicked, itd discourage the kick after completing the objective, which is almost always gonna be just to grief. That said, it's a P2P game, end of the day you cant really stop malicious kicking fully, even during "no kick windows".
There's supposed to be a feature that gives players their cut of the loot with the usual 25% reduction if you got disconnected before completing the mission. Just have the game read the loot on the ship and treat a kick as a premature mission end, providing a reduced cut of the spoils.
Loot trolling gets diminished to the point of borderline nonexistence because a measly 25% less salvage isn't even worth the number of clicks needed to kick a lad, plus if you're on the receiving end it becomes at best a minor inconvenience.
Best part is it hopefully shouldn't be too hard to implement because most of this functionality is already in the game and nobody has to reinvent the wheel.
Sure, that'd be a good change, and like you said, probably easy to implement. That said, I see no reason to believe this would deter griefers. Griefers grief as an exercise of power, not because of an analysis of the cost to you.
It'd stil suck if you missed out on component unlocks too, but theres no real way to avoid that without making kicking a way to "save" components.
