I'm a 4 hour old PLEATOM user. It disappears when I go to the hangar with artifacts, is it a one-time consumption?

When you unlock the cabinet (shortly after your first upgrade for the ship) he states that the artifacts should stay even through a jump

If they're in the artifact cabinet and still disappear after a jump then thats a different problem
