#Weapons locker

A very recurrent suggestion:
Devs respond that we have to try first the vendors of the hangar when it's will be implement. Then we will see if a locker is still needed while you can buy stuff like weapons.
I think anything in the hangar you leave between missions should stay there, weapons, shield generators etc
until you can't load the map because of all the stuffs you keep on the floor x)
Joke aside, I don't think it's a good thing for the balance of the game, and we will not need it when we will have the vendors to buy stuff.
I supposed… Escape From Tarkov?
I like this idea, however.... I am curious to see the trade system in place first before going that route.
Cost of weapons per mk, artifacts, repair kits, and so on.
I have had talks with friends with the idea to have some kind of small cache system buuuut, there are features yet to be established and could help change my mind. We will see.
At least we need some other way to get ground weapons instead of grinding for them. I just lost a mission due to getting stuck in the most unlucky way and lost my weapon because of it. Now I might have have to grind out boring missions for hours until I get lucky and find something to put me back in the fight. And the thing from the assembler is so weak in comparison that having a decent weapon on you is basically a necessity for higher difficulty.
I also think it is a great source of anxiety to always cling to that weapon, never put it down because if there is a crash while you do not hold it, it is gone.
It also discourages from trying challenging missions, because if you loose, your precious weapon is gone. Reward differences are already low for higher difficulty this makes you play it save and boring.
Finally, letting the ship grow ever stronger while always starting out fresh on the ground leads to a situation where ground combat gets too hard and space too boring. I am really curious to see how they will tackle this. Maybe the vendors will do the trick.
Did the OP bother to check if this was suggested previously?
We've got at least 10 posts asking for the same thing lmao
I don't get complaints about weapon lockers.
"we don't want them" grand so don't use them.
Like its a bit of a joke.
as a new player I think limited weapon lockers would help the progression and the general enjoyment of the game. Nothing crazy, just room for one or two as the OP suggested.
I'd like to place my locker in my bunk
