I noticed the player suit customisations stayed while unlocking more suits, but the ship colour customisations disappeared when unlocking the next ship in the demo. It would be good to either be able to save your palette or keep the colours picked when ship upgrades.
Love the colours though. Was a bit muted in the customizer but really pops in game.

The colors reset when you fully repair the starter ship. I think that is what they are referring to.
