#Cargo ship mission seems unintentionally difficult even with 4 people.

took me and my buddies 2 attempts
we had both railguns
it made quick work of both the cargo ship and the enemy assist ships
We did it steadily with a good focus on cargo at first, then fighters around then landing. Enemies stop spawning once the cargo's immobilized. If not, it's likely to be a bug.
Yeah, I beat it t5 solo. If you destroy all the ships before the cargo ship is disabled, more just jump in. Take out most of the ships, not all, disable the cargo vessel, then either ignore the remaining ships or destroy them and complete the mission.
Something that would be cool, is if it didn't matter how many people were trying to open the door. Instead of requiring all four players, make it open slower the fewer players that are working on it. That would open the door for more strategies.
THAT is a great idea. It is kind of annoying that we need everyone for some of the doors. Especially when we land hot and need someone to repair and put out fires. Just let the others go work on the objective while one person tends to the ship
I would like that change made to anything in the game that requires more than one one player. In a well coordinated team, everyone having to drop what they are doing to open a door or start an event can feel pace breaking. Particularly when everyone is playing different roles.
Yea that definitely doesn’t seem like it’s intentional for them to spawn infinitely like that then
Can you ignore them? I assumed they would continue damaging your ship while it's parked
They do, but if it is just like two snipers or something, and your ship is at full health, they can't take it out before you finish and leave. As long as you make it out before reinforcements, who cares if the ship takes a little damage? You're just jumping to the hanger after that anyway. Works in solo challenge 5. Not sure about it's efficacy in multiplayer.
Btw, love the Puki Puki profile pic.
ha thanks man
interesting; I would have assumed they work a bit faster than that, but almost all of my playtime is with at least 3 crew
