I've been seeing this issue happen a lot lately. In kami office a summon can block you from getting mission unless you know how to get around it with flicker spamming jump. most new players do not. i had to flicker to get past this toad in mini but i saw a few lowbies just give up and leave. theres no way for me to kill the summon. what should i do in this situtation?

i mean you can attack the summon with a other summon lol
no.. you cant if they have pvp off. i tried.
Yaah summon hitbox is really wonky and unless they’re an enemy with PvP on, there’s nothing you can do about it.
part of the reason we have multiple routes to each village now
though I do think summons hitboxes need adjustments
@sullen spruce move yo summon bro
i did
What if you removed the summons density if the player that owns it is not in PvP locked combat.

The only issue with a hitbox adjustment IMO is that summons are meant to be large. Ofcourse a giant toad is going to get hit by more kunai from a kunai swarm than a human sized object. Maybe adding some damage resistance to the summon to make it beefier, and less viable to just get insta bursted. But even then its still more realistic that a strong ninja can quickly incapacitate a summon, but as they currently stand they are quite useless in anything other than 1v1s
I mean that could work too but overall summons are weaker atm cause alot of them are 3 wide meaning they are easier to hit and also take more dmg by multi-projectile jutsus like fire bullets, water bullets, and wind bullets
so a hitbox adjustment would fix both issues
