#Hisui fans are almost unplayable now.

For reference : I deal 82 damage with total 232 STR, people with the base requirements hit for an even more embarrassing number.
It having 2.4 AS is a detrimental for anyone/anything.
Edit due timer : Yes, damage didn't change but the AS did and with such a low number, lower range it makes the weapon suck quite a bit.
Damage was always the same, nothing changed.
It drops from a lvl 17 mob.
I killed it around 1000 times, i never seen a drop. (And i am not the only one)
Price tag is also 35k.
Not a new player friendly weapon.
And what about metal knuckle?
Or vooden tonfa? They drop from low level mobs, and they are not even ONE mob every 5 mins, you can farm those in packs.
based on this logic we should make the metal knuckle even weaker then hisui since it drop from lvl 15 mob
Nerf bubble and blood pipe then. Literal 3 tile snare that lingers on the map that can be flickered into
Yea but neither metal knuckles or wooden tonfa have some special effect that makes them stick out, Hisui fans shoot triple projectile which no other fan currently has
Special does not mean better.
With 70 STR and 20 agi as a requirement you can realistically play hisui only in ONE build, which is not even meta, is a support build, with the lowest output damage in the game.
Plus, almost the entirety of fan kit relies on Mid-Range High-Range interactions.
You are not supposed to be too close to your opponent.
Once again, different doesn't mean better.
What I am reading here is someone asking for the Hisui fan to have a similar range of other fans with the 3 tiles effect it already has.
In other words, you are asking the bread and butter from a early drop fan.
this is what ppl dont get, they think its fine for a yama tier weapon to drop from some early lvl scarab lol
amazes me how certain people think
Then move where it drops? The fan itself is not innately overpowered. It's so weird to me that people find hisui overpowered and the second you bring up bubble being too strong especially blood pipe their brain shuts off and question marks shoot out of their head.
Even for an end game top tier weapon, blood pipe is too strong. Especially on the meta of GCDs
As cool as that idea is, we cant move a drop when 100 of players already dropped the weapon
thats like accidently adding yama to scorps, 20 players drop it, and then say "oh sorry guys" we move it to a 100k boss
yeah no
But you will nerf it to an unusuable level when 100 of players already use it? The fan in its current state makes no sense because it's only good for lower level use but the stat line it requires require you to be a higher level. If you are going to keep it on a low level mob (which is the real issue) then make it something lower level players can use.
If the fan stays as it is then it's stats requirements need to be gutted.
Having to invest 80 stats just to equip it really hinders any build.
How many Hisuis have seen dominating pvp events? Most of fan users can't use Hisui just for the stat requirements alone.
I don't want a broken fan. I want a viable one. Right now that's not really the case, at least the damage should be adjusted a bit.
We got the lowest jutsu scaling in the game already.
It's viable lol it's a 3 tile ranged weapon that kbs and cancels, ofc it's shorter range when it shoots 3 tile projectile opposed to the fans that shoot a 1 tile one
Using it with the current fan kit/scaling is the problem.
It would only be good for Hybrid but its stat requirement is too high for a hybrid fan. It used to somewhat justify itself but with the nerf and GCD change the fan is garbage
@stark bramble In my whole nin career iv rarely seen so much BIAS from a single player. You are asking your fan to be the strongest fan because why not.
I dont play fan or have a Hisui
Also even pre nerf it was not even top 2 Fans
im just saying facts and everyones response is "Nuh uh"
Once again, Hisui NEVER broke the meta, and NEVER dominated any kind of pvp scene, that's just a fact.
no hes asking for it to be usable, it was already a super low dmg weapon and now on top of that it got turned into a melee weapon
GG @radiant rose, you just advanced to level 8!
Let’s not say never. On release the fan was turbo mode. 1.5 attack speed 3 tile fan going 5 tiles was a guaranteed win. This was also when fan had 60% scaling on melee too
It's low damage for a reason, it shoots 3 projectiles unlike other fans which makes it way easier to land, it's also the reason why it's been made slower and lower range
Easier to land? Have you ever played it before?
Try to hit a tai running around like a maniac.
Fans have zero diagonal interaction, you just get meleed to death in a close combat situation lmao
Not anymore no, it was already a very low dmg fan meant to play mid game, not sure who will use it now
The answer is nobody. The fact that it shoots 3 projectiles is not good for anything. Who in their right mind is going to waste 20 points into Agi for this fan as it is
The fact you guys are fighting for this fan in particular is pretty self explanatory on how good and beloved this fan may have been (I believe it was beyond broken)
There are other fans that are harder to get which also happen to be better than the hisui fan. Grind my friends.
if anyone thinks Hisui was op i just want you to know that it wasn't and that the only reason you lost was purely a skill issue and this coming from someone that has spared against Hisui users plenty of times
take a look at leaf
Leaf what 😅🤣
Now what if I say the same about tai med before the nerfs (everyone take this as you wish, this might be even pre steam era tai meta or post)??(I didn't mind hisui but to say it was not op is the same as saying tai didn't use to be op)
Even at half price, nobody wants that weapon anymore. It’s straight dog-tier now.
If it’s harder to obtain than knuckles, it should be in the same price range or higher. Instead, knuckles are selling for more than twice the average price of Hisui, which makes no sense at face value.
But the reason is obvious.
First, WM is easily one of the worst masteries in the game right now, so almost no one wants to play it. That’s especially bad considering it’s the only sand mastery and one of the main reasons people would consider trying Sand Village.
Second, Hisui itself is such a terrible weapon now that nobody in their right mind would use it, regardless of price.
And finally, Tai is completely busted in the current meta, so demand naturally funnels into knuckles instead.
Boom the fan is back on top
I heard you guys, I'm still sticking to same range. This is not going to change.
Is it a fan or a sword at this point? 😂
I'm sure they trying their best and I'm sure balancing a game isn't easy, plus isn't it a low level drop anyways?
🤣
Tai was always busted man xD
It is a low level drop, but it was one of the only 3 options you had to pick from for a serious fan build. Now it's down to just Oriental Fan & Nitoryu. All of the other fans are mediocre to bad. Hisui offered a closer range aggressive playstyle, where as all the other fans are played in a more defensive way. There's not enough people with Omo to make a comment on it, but it got nerfed when agility started to scale with all weapons as you could, from what I was told, permanently snare someone with Omo. That's why people are so upset about Hisui - it was one of the three viable endgame fan weapons and it was the only one with its playstyle.
In other words, it was broken. Hope that helped.
