Rp tag

Adding a rp tag option for players that may want to rp would be helpful to know who we can rp with. Sorry if that’s a thing already I’m new 😅

If you are an rper, the best bet you currently have is to actively rp and hope you entice players to switch modes. I agree that a tag of some sort would be nice, although I think players with full clan names are generally assumed to rp

That’s fair with the clan names, I just haven’t seen much rp in general. was thinking a tag would be easily noticed rather than leaving things up to assumption. But if it doesn’t get added, I’ll just do my rp and hopefully others will join in😁

Could be cool - but RP isn't really done too much in this game. Some light RP happens from time to time or in specific situations such as an ongoing RP Mission.

Ahh so the game is mostly PvP/PvE. that makes sense why I don’t see rp much. I’ll probably stick to rping with my group of friends then 😁

Don't let that keep you from trying to RP with others, just know that you're going to come across more people who don't care for it then those who do. Enjoy the game how you want

There's interest, so if you all push to organize more RP events then a larger RP community will naturally follow - there's just not a larger one right now

I know we gotta fine em, but it would just be easier to have some way to tell them apart from the crowd. I put Roleplayer in my little bio thing but it’s still hard to find people I have a small group of maybe 7+ people who RP.

The great thing about an RP Tag or something like that is that it doesn’t harm or effect the community negatively in any way it only open opportunities for new gameplay that some people might not have ever considered.

A title would be great actually a great idea honestly imo. Just something to draw attention to it more instead of emoting to someone hoping they’ll RP back and looking a little silly when they don’t lol 😅

I get RP isn’t for everyone but something like this could help bring that community together more easily.

I agree, or just staring out with it too if possible.
To me the best part about something like Roleplaying title or a (possible) separate server for roleplayers is that if roleplayings not your thing your thing or you just don’t feel like roleplaying right now you can turn your Roleplaying title off and if it’s something that does interest you you can put up the Roleplaying title and everyone from all villages are welcome to participate in rping with you as they come across you.

Roleplaying can be more then a few missions here or there and can help to create a fun storyline and further lore for why were all beefing on sight so bad.

Also roleplay and PvP can work well in tandem. Let’s say two enemy shinobi cross paths with the Roleplaying title on rather then just ganking them you can drop a flashy emote and give your best shinobi impersonation.

For example.

/e Yuuma freezes as a shinobi of the hidden mist glides out from the fog, steel gray eyes locking on him. The medic would weave a quick set of hand seals before sliding into a low stance as chakra hums around his fingers, sharpening into a chakra scalpel.

“Come any closer,” Yuuma warns, jaw tight, “and I’m not aiming for your armor.”

From there if PvP is on you could RP banter before fighting or you can initiate a duel if your PvP I off, and if PvP isn’t either of your thing text based combat could be an option for the few who enjoy it.

Long story short I only see a title stating roleplaying as something that could enhance an aspect of the game without harming another.
There’s loads of fun ways for everyone to enjoy the game differently sometimes we just need a little help to find out community.

The ability to make RP profiles maybe? Write a characters age, basic description, moral compass. We got the small profile section, but a more expansive paage would be nice.

Can I also just say it's kind of a miss that there is no RP for Rogues, as it's a mostly unexplored part of Naruto lore, it has a wide open canvas to be built on by existing rogues. Just sayin, some of us rogues want lore too. And more importantly the future rogues will still want RP different from what they experienced in their village. Maybe more combat mixed into the RP. Orga esque trials for example.
Just feels like there's so much room for more to do with Takumi, it was clearly designed to be heavily inhabited at one point and at present it feels like there wouldn't be much benefit to growing it.

RP could be a good way for us to collaborate and come together on changes or improvements to the rogues livelihood as well.

Bounty hunter org, Hermit and Sage organizations. I wish (and hope) takumi gets reworked into a proper 4th faction.

They even used to have some orgs before not sure why they got removed.

It would be interesting to see it get its own village exclusive mastery, be interesting if Takumi was a test bed for genjutsu or something like that 👀 more late game incentive to maybe go rogue for a different set of genjutsu than what is available through the normal villages type thing. When we cross that bridge.

Ummmm that would be interesting. Maybe something like exclusive general jutsus. I guess you could make it a mastery but then how does that work with the pardon system? It would be interesting if you could decide to be a "Nomad" or something like that when creating your character and just start in takumi and then you could get this exclusive mastery but you cannot join any other village ever. Maybe something like a str based earth mastery (to keep the str based exclusive mastery pattern going) Crystal or clay jutsus? Idk just ideas.

Just like (I assume) with other village masteries, you don't loose your leaf tag for example when you go rogue, and you can learn that masteries jutsu at that location, likewise you should only ever gain the rogue title, even if you return to your village, as the criminal rankings remain even on returned ninja.

I was thinking maybe a unique WM weapon type like sickle and chain, would be ridiculous to animate but could be cool AF.
At least until genjutsu comes out.
It would even be interesting if you could start rogue and pardon your way into any village of your choosing tbh

Yeah but then you would lose your mastery? You can't join Leaf as a Bubble user Mist rogue for example. I mean it would be cool if you could rejoin your village and keep the unique mastery. You cannot relearn it though if you were to forget the jutsus (if it were a str path for a current mastery).

It would definetly give takumi some special flavor.
