đ„ Will of Fire (Leaf passive) is too strong.
Context:
Sand and sometimes Mist are usually outnumbered by Leaf in raids. Not only do we fight bigger numbers, but Leaf also has:
- Regular revives from medics
- PLUS Will of Fire (5% chance to self-revive after 10s)
Why itâs a problem:
-
Deaths are staggered so Leaf is constantly rolling that 5% chance while others try to save/heal.
-
Will of Fire can proc multiple times on the same person, so someone you kill can keep coming back in the same raid or hunt.
-
The more Leaf players there are, the more chances for revives. With 25â30 Leaf players, thatâs constant bodies popping back up.
-
In large-scale fights, itâs already hard to protect and revive our own allies. On top of that, we have to watch Leaf corpses too, making sure they donât self-revive which splits our focus and punishes us even more.
-
Compared to Sandâs stealth and Mistâs water charging (both situational), Leafâs passive directly adds extra lives into the fight, which snowballs hard.
-
Not only does the self revive affect raids it prevents other players from gaining their bounty or arresting them if they have crime +5. A hard earned kill is taken away from players because once they revive someone else could land the final blow.
-
Each time a Leaf goes down we have to camp the fainted player for 10 seconds to ensure they dont get up. If it procs multiple times then thats another 10 seconds. In a fight where every second counts this becomes stupidly annoying. Add the chaos of 40 players all fighting at once the chances of them getting up and running to safety is huge.
đĄ Proposed change:
After Will of Fire procs, apply a 10-minute âWeakened Spiritâ debuff so it canât trigger again right away.
- Keeps Leafâs identity (resilience and surprise comebacks).
- Prevents chain revives on the same players.
- Makes large raids fairer for Sand and Mist, who donât get free extra lives.
