#Make 24h CD missions be 20h instead.

So, the reason for this suggestion is simple:

It's a new trend to, instead of making "daily" missions that reset on... reset, they have a fixed 24h cooldown.

In practice, that can make said missions have effectively 48h CD instead.

What happens is that the timer starts to run after you complete the quest.

So let's suppose you start playing 19h, and you have 2 hours to play in your day.

You pick up your "daily" (24h cd) mission, and go finish it. 2h later you finished it.

What happens next day? You can't grab it until 21h. You can't really do it. So you'll pick it up, and stay with the quest until the next day, where you can play again to finish it.

And the cycle repeats.

Now the quest, instead of having a 24h CD, has effectively 48h CD. You'll be doing it only once every two days.

Making the quest reset in 20h instead would "fix" this, making it possible to actually do it daily, without having to always drift to later and later times.

Wait you're saying that some daily quests have a separate 24 hour reset? I thought that all daily quests just reset at the daily reset time.

Instead of reseting on daily reset, it has a separate 24h CD

Aaah i see. The new police daily. That is strange, it should just reset on the daily reset.

Gotcha.

I just think it'll be better to make it reset at daily reset ngl

#

It just makes things easier and doesn't force the player to wait 20 or 24 hours exactly after, they could just know they have the chance to knock it out earlier or later in the day thanks to daily reset

I'll change the downvote tho, maybe we need a 50/50 emote to react with lmao

Like the Police mission was presented as a daily, with a 24h CD.

But in practice you can't really so it once a day. It's not a daily.

Even if you fins time every day to do it, the timer will keep drifting until you "miss a day".
