Quest monsters having at least two spawn locations on the map

I actually just realized why my leveling is slowing down. The new player experience around level 30 is going to a single point on the map and getting ambushed by a group of higher levels.

10 minutes of debuff meaning** I can't play.**
Fish for a little bit, get bored and just watch youtube videos.

Go back to area after you give it some extra time. 15 minutes or more. Go back to area, get jumped by another group of higher levels waiting at the entrance for anybody.

Another 10 minutes of not playing the game.

There needs to be at least two areas around the map where say the Bears spawn. Two spots where venom is gotten. Two caves separate from each other for DnA.

Dna is a big one. Four of us sat there for 8 minutes mass killing them and only getting 4 DnA Samples. That was until a group of 60s came up and aired the place out.** Back to not playing the game and waiting in town.**

Areas need their drop rates increased so players aren't stuck waiting there for someone to come ambush them while they farm for 10+ minutes, or the map needs to expand.

cursed hosts do have multiple area spawns now btw, its near the new prison map off of the tanzaku to sand path, you get there from the ant cave just south of the path to tanzaku

doesnt entirely solve the problem, but the map is slowly being expanded now we have more players

It's really hard to keep new players engaged. So when I'm in town I make sure to answer questions and assist where I can

But when I see low levels pop in and then they're frustrated they can't play the game because of how PvP is.

That's a negative to the player base right there. They might not come back. Even making Waging War a rarer to obtain daily mission would help lowbies at this point.

Short answer: Ask your village for help
Long answer: Yeah, lvl 30+ is rough because the game doesn't have any more "pve content" after that. People will be farming the exact same maps as you are. So DNA Cave/Arc 40/Snakes. That's pretty much it.
They're slowly but surely adding new spawns to mobs, making it easier on new players, and adding variety to high level players, but yeah.

id say spiders, but theres already 3 different areas with those now

The crime system was a step in the right direction. Some people are like "yeah crime!" but in practice, most people avoid killing lowbies because of it now

Jail time sucks, and it's a huge nerf in fights.

removing the chance of rev or WoF for leaf is massive

the game at the state it released on steam simply wasnt built for more than like 120 active players

now that we hit 300 everyday the world is over filled, but they are slowly adding new areas

Leaf should have more players online at any given time than mist.

I mean, if you get past the first part of snakes you should be somewhat safe. Usually people don't go searching for kills deep on the lair.

The reality of the game is that playing it alone is borderline impossible

You NEED to find people to group up with. You don't need to talk to them, but you'll need help.

When that happens the only thing you can do is go do something else, or ask for help in your village.

Your suggestion was ask for help, I told you I had 4 friends we were playing with. When we were sitting in town for 30 minutes (In between us going out) there was maybe 1 afk person and the occasional player running off

Was nice to see it. Wish I had it around that level 😭

Even before steam release when we were on like 60 player avg sometimes you would just abandon a mission because a map was being guarded, it is an open pvp game stuff like that will happen unless you oversaturate the map with areas, but I don't think oversaturating is the solution, there still needs to be risk or dying to other players

its just happening a little bit too much rn in certain areas, snakes is probably the largest culprit ofc

once cloud gets added eventually i'm pretty sure most of the overcrowded issues will die down, a few months after it drops since cloud will have the biggest player spike nin has seen im certain
