#Tailed Beast System Integrated with Official Organizations
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Couple of year ago, Rory mentioned plans to overhaul how official organizations like the 7 Swordsmen, ANBU, and Akatsuki function to make them more integral to gameplay. Building on that vision, I’d like to propose a new mechanic centered around Tailed Beasts (Bijū) that ties directly into village organizations, the Akatsuki, and even rogue groups.
Tailed Beast Spawns & Village Integration
Each village would be linked to specific Tailed Beasts that spawn either within or near their territories. This creates village pride, natural defensive duties, and incentives for cross-village conflicts.
Examples:
-
Hidden Mist Village
- Three-Tails spawns inside the village.
- Six-Tails appears on the nearby mini-island (or vice versa).
-
Hidden Leaf Village
- Nine-Tails spawns somewhere inside the village.
- Five-Tails roams the bottom left of the Cherry Blossom Forest.
-
Hidden Sand Village
- One-Tail spawns inside the village.
- Seven-Tails emerges in the vast desert map.
-
Remaining Tailed Beasts
- The last three spawn randomly across the mainland, adding unpredictability and opportunities for surprise conflicts.
Tailed Beast Boss & Jinchūriki Mechanic
Boss Fights:
Tailed Beasts would serve as high-level raid bosses, similar to the Bonesword encounter, featuring:
- Split phases, DPS checks, and invulnerability windows tied to map interactions like breaking seals or disabling barriers.
- Multi-layered, dynamic fights that stay fun and avoid repetitive grinding.
(For balance and lore flavor, Akatsuki members could even receive a damage bonus against Tailed Beasts, similar to how Tobi and Deidara easily captured the Three-Tails in the anime.)
Sealing & Becoming a Jinchūriki
After defeating a Tailed Beast, a Chakra Medic with at least 60 Chakra could seal it into a tradable scroll. This scroll grants the user Jinchūriki powers based on their current Chakra level:
-
30 Chakra:
- Initial Tailed Beast Form — +20 to all stats.
(Like Naruto’s first Nine-Tails surge against Haku.)
- Initial Tailed Beast Form — +20 to all stats.
-
45 Chakra:
- Four-Tailed Form — +25 to all stats.
(When Naruto lost control fighting Orochimaru.)
- Four-Tailed Form — +25 to all stats.
-
80 Chakra:
- Chakra Cloak Mode — +40 to all stats.
(Naruto’s advanced training with Killer B to master Kurama.)
- Chakra Cloak Mode — +40 to all stats.
Organization Missions & Gameplay Loops
This system would unlock new mission types for official organizations, enriching gameplay and adding strong RP opportunities.
Examples:
- Military Police Force
- Guard duty to protect the village’s Tailed Beasts from attacks.
- ANBU / 7 Swordsmen / Puppet Brigade / 12 Guardian Ninja
- Spy on enemy village Tailed Beasts.
- Capture rival villages’ beasts.
- Escort village Jinchūriki across territories.
- Recover stolen Tailed Beasts from Akatsuki hideouts.
- Akatsuki
- Systematic missions to capture all Tailed Beasts.
- Progressive objectives: seal 3, then 6, then all 9 into the Gedo Mazo statue.
New Akatsuki Perk: Gedo Mazo Mechanic
If four or more Akatsuki members gather on the same map, they could summon the Gedo Mazo Statue as a powerful BOSS MOB to help seal or capture Jinchūriki and Tailed Beasts. This mechanic would:
- Encourage coordination and teamwork among Akatsuki players.
- Be a visually stunning, lore-rich addition to big battles.
Extra Rewards & Progression
What akatsuki would gain if achive all beasts?
Beasts would have fixed timers to respawn or just when jinchuriki dies?
One idea I was thinking that after collecting all nine the akatsuki can choose 1 person to make the 10 tail Jinchūriki with a massive stats boost .
Also where ever they summon the Gedo Statue it makes the MAP a Danger Zone
As much as i like the idea, i can see potential abuse with it becoming sealable along with how alt heavy this game seems to be.
The chakra feature is useless imo cuz people will always run with a high chk med to see and get 40+ Stats. But I like that ides, it adds more content and keeps the game fresh but some of the ideas do need to be fleshed out ofc if they choose to do this, so it doesn't get abused.
i just imagine if anyone gets it, they would get priority to any org buffs thinking about it.
I love this idea, but I would make it so that jinchuriki boost can be used by multiple people instead of 1 person, and not cap it to Chk, and instead of all round stats have every Bijuu give a different set of stats that makes sense to their nature
Yeah i'd prolly help out if I can why not
jk nice idea though, adds more stuff to do as a village
Im not a fan of introducing more abusable rp buffs to the game
Its also very easy for someone to simply alt abuse this
The idea sounds nice until you mentioned buffs
Instead how about some sort of loot reward
explain how u can ult abuse this when you need a group to kill the tail beast?
either way there need to be a incentive to be a Jinchūriki
Because you can seal the beast and give it to your own alt
Im fine with the whole concept except the buff part
Why not make it something like extra drop rate for a epriod of time
I think jinchuriki would elevate 1 player too much hahaha! But it does sound fun
And if akat seals it instead they get the drop rate buff
fact it all about fun
Cause the idea is great really
It makes total sense but the buff part not so much
Its fun for 1 player
What about all the others
They get nothing for it thats the problem i have
Y would i go kill it just to see some random get the buff
I agree, i was tryin to add a little lore behind the chakra buff but it can be a adifferent type of village wide buff, but tone down
I would prefer if it was some village wide reward
Id like it if it was the 9 akat. So its really a coordination move
4 ppl os too easy to gather
9 is a whole other prep
Making the buff affect an entire village wouldn’t be very interesting. To keep things balanced, its power would have to be so minimal that it becomes almost irrelevant.
Players are far more motivated when they have the chance to make their own character stronger and stand out from the rest with a different role in game.
It’s much better to balance the buff around a single player and make it extractable and having a built-in timer.
This opens the door for global events centered around the mechanic—sparking intense competition as everyone fights for control of the buff.
The core idea is solid; it just needs further refinement. Adding meaningful endgame content for high-level players is always a great move.
the problem with thislogic is once again
why would i farm something that will most likely award me with 0
the buff is fun for 1player
this game has 200+ active players
the problem with the buff idea is that it barely contributes anything for the fun of the game
in fact most would call it unfair and complain about it
the idea itself is amazing because it actually works with the active orgs in the game
and could even be integrated with the village contribution system
i just think the reward part being 1 player gets a rp buff is not good
It would be difficult to have a player character be elevated above the others without that player having the consensus of the village they're in - like the Kage. While some people would see this as a cool little thing to have in their village, others would be jealous "What about me" - even if they didn't contribute in the first place. Complaints will always happen when someone is put on a pedestal. GMs can't participate in raids, so it wouldn't be possible for the buffed player to actually be a GM staff account so that "no one" really is elevated. It's a cool idea, but I think village wide buffs would present less problems.
What if tailed beast was a kage summon with a long cooldown? Idk how it could work for rogues but for villagers this could work ig
the problem with all these sorts of ideas is that they are easy to be abused
That might work. As for the rogues, it might just be the designated lead of the Akatsuki as the analog for the Kage player. Though that group is notoriously inactive.
and in general contribute 0 in most situations for the actual player base that helped kill the boss
the way to reward everyone is either loot or wide buffs
because if you turn it into 1 person buff or 1 person summon
99% of the contributors get 0 from theboss
To be fair, you are supposed to be working together as a village to go after community goals, but that concept has all but died.
i dunno i just dont see any point or reason why i would farm a raid boss just for 1 dude to get a buff
this is probably the only good tailed beast suggestion ngl
id hate for this type of feature it to just be a buff for 1 player as the reward
They better look this goofy or we riot
Village-wide buff with "tailed beast chakra" maybe?
just make a reward for everyone idrc what it is tbh
the suggestion itself is pretty well fleshed out too already
The actual dream hahahaha
I dislike this. Boost 1 dude
Ofc everone else gonna be jaleous but its still cooler that way
i dont get wahts cool about that
i spend my time to get nothing
and 1 player out of everyone gets everything
and that everything just ends up being a game breaking buff that makes him impossible to kill
You dont need to participate tho
Ppl would
it would still be a wasted system
I would participate to help someone get his buff
Its not for nothing to me
we just disagree thats it really
Yeah
This game thrives on PvP, so building systems that organically spark conflict is exactly what most events should aim for.
And that alone already makes the idea worth it—
because let’s be honest:
The real fun in this game is PvP.
As for rewards, why wouldn’t you get one? No one said the buff is handpicked by a third party. If it’s randomly granted to someone who actually participated in the fight, that’s a fair system.
And even if only one person receives the buff, the overall benefit is shared—because more battles across the map mean more opportunities, more action, and more rewards for everyone.
if you combine the random buff to 1 person with rewards to everyone else as well
i wouldn ot mind it
i just feel like the reward being 1 buff only is not it
i need fell like i wanna actually farm it
The great thing is that you dont need to participate to get rewarded.
More pvp = more action in game = more players active
GG @rain gate, you just advanced to level 9!
i mean then whats the point of it
You will be rewarded having more players figthing
cause the buff being a reward is just backwards thinking
thats like old ideas that have already proven to be more bad than good
like akat
Is Just a new motive to people go out and fight
akat has no reason to exist rn
but why not make it more than that
i dont get whats the problem with rewarding everyone with tangible reward instead of 1 rp buff
And Whats your suggestion to make people go out and fight
Any ideia that make people go out and have huge figths is good for the game
Singular jinchurikis is the best idea. Now the way to chose a jinchuriki may be contoversail. But in the anime, village kinda chosed their host for the tailed beasts
legit just make sure the reward is a reward for everyone
and not some trash rp buff
i hate that stuff
Rp buff is better
oh 1 person gets a pvp advantage
and the other 50 that participated get 0
wow great idea
If everyone gets it, then whats the point
the point is farming a reward
going out to do an activityt
rp buff does 0 of that
you just giving 1 reward thats not shareable
Get better and win
There’s nothing more fair than that
I personally wouldnt want to be a jinchuriki as it doesnt fit my character
how is giving a village wide buff be not fair
thats the fairest lol
I'd totally eat all the tailed beasts bro
Why you want a buff for the whole village bro
why you want a buff for 1 person bro
I want eye power not boosted animals
this is a mmo
you need to reward people for their time
not some 1 man buff for 50 people activity
The buff being drop and having timer makes everyone go out and fight for it
You have 1 eye so you get 50%
trust me i would not care to go kill something so someone else gets a reward for my time
no game does that
If the whole village is buffed why you would even bother trying to fight against it
games reward everyone for raid boss pve
not 1 person
thats the most backward concept i have heard ngl
i dont want a pvp buff
why not a drop rate buff
a exp buff
something lol
Bro the whole point is creating more fights in map
you can even have the buff idgaf
but at least make sure eveyrone else also gets something
Because the main thing of this game is PVP not PVE
but why can you not invest on the pve as well
you propose we ignorepve ?
then why bother revamping bossing at all and create a huge pve event ?
that makes 0 sense
I wouldnt care less for pve tbh
Look guys we all agree this idea would be fun and close of everyone would like it implented even if they wouldnt get the buff themselve
but your vision is backwards brother
you gotta think about the whole picture
you can have best of both worlds here
sure add the 1 person buff
but also reward the village for it
This way is better
Good idea finnaly
thats how raid bossing works in mmos
cause otherwise its just a pointless activity for the ones that get nothing
The tailed beast mob could have chances of droping cool rarw items for those who participated in the kill
Make more pvps happen and help the other people that like pve also
Wonder what a tailed beast could drop that's somewhat connected to the mob itself?
These items of the rikudo. The sword, that barrel, the rope, gaaras jar
Many stuff in fact
Idk if it was said, but I could see this working with a good Raid system that gives noticeable village wide buffs.
So yeah, one person gets the massive boost, but the village can use said person to win a war and get massive rewards for the entire village.
Otherwise I totally agree with you, those systems that make one player "the chosen one" kinda sucks. They only really work in anime
i just imagine if one person gets the massive boost then gets slapped into any orgs that would increase his survivability
Yeah i think theres no way he could join an org or that would be too much 🤣
The only org I would be alright with this happening is one of the Akatsuki, but it can't be a buff that's juggled around between them. It would have to be one character that people can recognize as having the buff and play/plan around it.
I mean at the end of Naruto he able to give the nine tails cloak to everyone on the same map
Maybe we can come up with something similar to benefit the whole village to have someone as the village jinchuriki
seal the beast into one person, decently good chance other items drop from the boss. ez. then everyone helps a guy become jinch and they also have a reason to go in order to get whatever drops could come from it
