Camping the mapswitch right at the loading screen has been a problem for a very long time now. You get immediately bombed the moment you load in and as you can see on the screenshots here there's not even any space to move around really. They spam traps, summons (that stun you from infinite range atm) and jutsus at the entrance.
Both raiding and missions become straight up impossible once they start trapping up, since there is no other way to get into the village either.
A second entrance or changes to the regular one would already go a long way.

The random jonin bot spawns inside Mist also need a change. You have one right at the entrance, sometimes even 2? Another one that can spawn super close south of the village entrace.. It gets super hard to move around in the village like that really, since you can never predict where those actually are.

Sand entrance change has allowed for a lot of good and engaging fights. Leaf entrance has been nice for a long time plus it has a second one.
Mist has been the odd one out and is just not fun or worth engaging in attempts to fight

I wouldn't mind proper 2nd entrances for every village

But I also feel like the game just needs more routes in general, so that we don't continue to end up at the same map switches we have been camping/dying at for years

Much less work than having to rework a whole village because adding stuff in it ruins the alignment of everything else

Its not even at raids, this is happening during most of the time and lowbies cant even pass their gates or at least try to sneak in for their mission. They just get caught to traps as there is no other way to avoid them.

Man that's so unnecessarily toxic. There's several missions that make you go to that village but if it's like that, what are you even supposed to do?
Well with the new draft system you can at least avoid anything that sends you there now I guess..

And that's because all villages are at war which is why your options are either have a paid escort in the village sneak in n hopefully not get caught but based on village activity sneaking into a village is becoming alot harder which is why I think all villages allow paid escorts

Balcoin you ended up talking about something that has nothing to do with this forum. Mist entrance is the only entrance where the mapswitch is just a few tiles and traps can be placed right there, which makes the village impossible to raid. I seen the mapswitched trapped up a couple of times even tho no one was raiding mist, then the only option for lowbies who want to do their mission is to die or pay. If you think thats fair then idk

Also mist entrance isn't always trapped the instances you're seeing is in times of raids

@narrow vale @dry crest @vernal coral sand entrance was changed like a year ago because it was very toxic, would be great if something could be done about mist's entrance aswell sometime in the future.. since it always ends up like this and it's no fun really

Was it really changed years ago? It felt like a recent change, you must suffer for the same amount of time the rest of the game felt

Should be possible to map all the alternative routes to the villages with place holder maps you can later change them to key locations. I believe there is a problem somewhere else

Prob just lose players when fresh players insta die in the middle maps instead of having a safer route
