Heyo! I recently had idea for summons rework to make it work like pet system.
Existing summons could be exchanged as unlockable "pet".
Ideas:

Instead of leveling summons tru combat like jutsu which right now makes people just stay afk experience could be gathered tru killing monsters by PLAYER. So while grinding lets say 50% of xp value is added to summon. Summon level limit could be same as level cap of players.

Summons could get perk points and stat points on level up giving player ability to make their summon unique. Perks could be like skills so lets say u have snake throwing venom - u can upgrade it using perk/skill points. Perk/Stat change could work same as guild reset - maybe once per week?

Ability to name summon - more unique personalized treatment for your pet. We can pick only 1 summon per acc so lets make it unique! Could include pet name change for 5$ in cash shop.

Ability to skin summons - It's important to keep some type of similarity so enemies know they are fighting snake but that doesnt change a fact that we could have skins in cash shop so snake would look like some anaconda (as example).

These two name/skin ideas create great synergy between cash shop and content

Also ability to set pet follow you, set offensive mode (attacks when targeted), defensive (attacks only when our char is hit), neutral (just follows)

Age could also be connected with evolving summon and makes player wait for their final form!

Combining it with gathering system of herbs and so on we could add pet/summon food to boost it or heal
