I had an idea of a subordinate system for hinokami so that player could have like passive income. those subordinate could be sent on mission in order to make money or training so that they get stronger (in order to take mission with higher difficulty without risking their life).these subordinate could die and in that scenario I have 2 idea either you have to wait like an ingame day or you have to hire another but it would cost more since your previous subordinate died once hired you could have a menu to send your crow to give them their order either training or doing mission. You would have to pay them with in game currency for every mission and to hire them of course but the reward you could get from these mission would most of the time be worth it. You could hire them in a dedicated place in town or by a npc with a maximum of 1, 2 or 3 of them depending of your rank/level their max rank will also depend on your rank being at max one or two below yours. Each mission would basically work with difficulty level and timer for example an easy mission of one hour would drop 6 common item (one for every ten minutes) along side a little bit of money if completed and a harder mission would last like 5hours so they would drop much more money and either 30 item with few of them being somewhat rare or still 6 item but of better quality and worth. The subordinate would also work while you are not in depending on the order that you gave them only things would be that the amount of work done would be reduced by half or more.

From what I know, so basing of how the system worked in rpg2. May be subject to change. Not fully sure personally
