that first blitz was valid, but from then on kaigaku blocked every attack after that. Including his eightfold.

Another thing to mention is that zentisu only knows one form, even though has has different variations. After demons have seen him use that move multiple times they can counter it as they know it’s speed. Eg. daki knew his speed until he whipped out ‘god like’. So that’s why kaigaku had the upper hand during the fight because he knew his speed after he used it a few times. Also take into account he is also a thunder user so he knows what to expect at the least

With gyutaro it’d be difficult but doable. He’d have to avoid his blood due to poison. Wounded tanjiro mixed his breathing and gyutaro didn’t see that “lightning fast move”, so zenitsu would be able to suprise him a few times. But if he uses 1st fom too much gyutaro could just counter it. So if he did eighfold into godlike he could get a few good hits. And then when gyutaro is either stunned or regenerating, zenitsu could use 7th form
