When working with oil pastels, the material is soft and purposefully melts the more you hold it, making it easier to blend colors to make them look how you want. Because of how melted they are, after applying layers, you’ll have to wait until they harden to add more layers, these layers will eventually add up to show depth and still retain color. This is what the start of what an “almost” realistic oil pastel art piece looks like.

Extravagant work as expected from you! There are multiple parts of this piece that make it stand out, such as the fisheye lens effect. This piece uses the 3/4ths rule and that shading ties the depth together. All in all good job!

Yes omg! You should draw lighter when you’re actually drawing it out. Once you know you have the details you want (they’ll be very light), you can trace the lines in a darker tone and erase the light lines to avoid having those shitty erased mistakes showing up

Essentially like this, but this is pen that shows the darker shade. Notice how you can’t see any of the pencil? It was super light so when I traced over it with pen and erased only the dark nice lines remained.

You can also leave some lighter lines to show shading, but in the end, any lines that aren’t your final product are going to have to be light.

the trick to anatomies is that male anatomy is more straight and tall, as female anatomy is more curvy like a hourglass, which many new art students have trouble drawing, and especially the breast, since new artists may not know how to draw them properly, and don't realise that breasts look different in specific angles (as you can see, my drawing here has it's failures as well, as the breast isnt well composed). as you can see in the two drawings, we can recognise this by the length between the legs, as my female design has a wider leg distance, but my male character has a shorter gap (sorry for the long paragraph)
