try
!!connectiontest
and are you self hosted? or who is your host
I host self with playit
Built-in Geyser
Tick the 'Enable Bedrock crossplay?' option when changing your server software to automatically install and configure Geyser + Floodgate. For more details, navigate to help.play.hosting/minecraft/crossplay.
Are you planning to use Fabric/NeoForge mods with Geyser?
If not, I recommend switching to PaperMC.
There's not many mods you can use with Geyser anyway.
My server is hosted using fabric
I recommend running Geyser directly on the Fabric server.
Geyser-Standalone has its downsides.
I tried that and no success
Did you use our setup guide?
Yes
Are you using the playit.gg client?
How do I know
I'm on linux using the app
Did you follow our playit.gg guide?
!!playit
Should I try this with standalone or the fabric mod
Up to you.
But, I would recommend running Geyser directly on the Fabric server.
Did you change the Bedrock port in the Geyser config in any way?
Yes I changed it to the playit port
Um.
Your not supposed to do that.
Change the Bedrock port in the Geyser config back to 19132.
Alright
Let me know if it fixes your issue.
It works locally for me, but not for others with using the xboxbroadcast extension
Did it work?
The connection fails when someone tries to join the world through my Xbox account
It works locally for me
Did playit.gg work?
Did you change anything in the MCXboxBroadcast config?
You shouldn't need to.
No, I can join the server when using the port with the ip on playit but not the default bedrock port
Maybe change the config to the playit port?
Well, that's normal.
Playit.gg basically handles the port forwarding.
Of course, the regular default bedrock port won't work.
Should I change the port in the config?
No.
My guess you'll have to make MCXboxBroadcast use your playit.gg ip address and port.
There's a config file for changing the ip and port it directs to.
Core session settings
session:
The IP address to broadcast, you likely want to change this to
your servers public IP
remote-address: auto
The port to broadcast, this should be left as auto unless your
manipulating the port using network rules or reverse proxies
remote-port: auto
I change these 2?
Change the remote-address to your playit.gg ip address.
Leave the remote-port as it is.
It'll just use your Geyser Bedrock port.
Okay
Reboot MCXboxBroadcast afterwards.
Change the remote-port to your playit.gg port.
I guess you'll have to.
Have an amazing rest of your day then!
