Possible problems:
advanced.java.use-haproxy-protocolshould ONLY be enabled if either of these apply:
1. Your server supports HAPROXY protocol (this has nothing to do with if you're using BungeeCord or Velocity).
2. You have the exact same option enabled in your BungeeCord/Velocity config (it is off by default).- You are using a branch of Geyser! Try the latest build and ensure the issue is also present there.

i feel like the issue exist since i added world borders there
ok maybe I need to get those world border fixes out a biiiit quicker
that's one bit of it; the other is that we're not accounting for the player offset when correcting the player

I'll have a PR out later today, but it won't be for custom item API V2 so I'm not sure how you're gonna handle that on your end
geyser issue with worldborder behaviour

does it only affect shrinking/growing world border or also static world border?

if you put the static one out far enough it wont happen though xd
explains why the static world border in my lobby does not affect bedrock players xd
