I have had it running but when I updated to the latest geyser after 1.21.11 it does not let bedrock players join
what message do users get when joining
It was "Chain" outdated version, but after updating they keep getting "Multiplayer Connection Failed"
Multiplayer Connection Failed? -.-
You gave them the playit.gg ip address and port right?
And the port is 19132 on playit.gg?
Also, is the tunnel a bedrock tunnel?
Yes, but they are trying to join via the mcxboxbroadcast extension because they are on console and can't type in an ip address
Yes I have a java and bedrock tunnel open
The config for mcxboxbroadcast is using your playit.gg ip address and port?
I can check that, I haven't touched it since I originally set it up
It worked before the latest update
check that
Change it to your playit.gg ip address.
okay, port too?
I mean it does say: The IP address to broadcast, you likely want to change this to your servers public IP.
okay
Update Geyser if u want.
I believe my geyser is updated now
I am still getting the same error when trying to join via bedrock
Hmm...
Did you restart the server?
After you made the config change?
Restart your server.
It doesn't apply changes unless you do.
Same thing for Geyser config if you make any changes you need to restart your server.
Okay I restarted it but now I get "Invalid IP Address
on the bedrock client?
Yes
the client?
On the backend it says "transferred bedrock client to target server"
yes
The exact message I get is "Your client is having trouble establishing a connection to multiplayer services. Please check your internet connection, restart your client, and try again." "Multiplayer Connection Failed"
But I get this message and so does another person trying to join from a different location
yes
I'm not too sure about your issue.
Maybe Auri has a clue. (don't ping project staff or helpful role people by the way)
But, I'm not sure how to exactly solve this.
