again, literally nothing we can do currently
bedrock handles vanilla tools far differently, and doesn't allow us to customise the break speed using them
we can't just "fix" this simply
we'd have to override every vanilla tool with a custom one that looks the same in order to "fix" this
but even then, there's still issues
if you really want, an extension and resource pack can already do this
no one has had the time to make them unfortunately
there is no "config option"
as there is no fix
the reason for the recent changes which caused this is for more accurate block breaking
this is causing issues, but is a far better user experience then ghosting
and before you ask, the old system isn't returning
