I went through the setup and looked at all the different options as far as going into powershell for local connection compatibility, along with installing the program as stated through win+r run. I can connect to java but bedrock just continually pings and doesnt connect. I went into config and set the clone remote port to true, didnt work. tried changing the internal port for the port forward to 19132 after setting the port foward in config to 19132, didnt work either.

I've been familiar with servers for a while but this is the first time in a while I've set one up. Hopefully someone can help get this resolved!

did you make sure to restart both the client and server after applying the loopback fix?

Localhost idk has issues on bedrock supposely

sometimes bedrock has a fit over using localhost for whatever reason

# tough obsidian Try 127.0.0.1 as the ip address

restarting server now with the annotation in front of #622948854928506901 0.0.0.0 and clone remote port set to true. the internal port is still set to 19132 and will test ocnnection to both ports with the new ip

yes I have tcp/udp enabled... Im considering seeing if UDP only on the port forwarding options is the next step. tried both ports with 127.0.0.1 and no dice

#

SOLVED: the 127.0.0.1 works with the java port. just gotta whitelist and Im in the game!
