First I had this error
Then I fixed it
But I'm getting this new one
It's purpur 1.21.4
And it appears to java players when someone playing on the bedrock version sends a message
Tho other bedrock players can see that message
!!chat
Minecraft 1.19 adds key signing, which is currently only used to verify that chat messages are coming from the right player.
Floodgate and Geyser currently do not support this, so it should be disabled using the following instructions:
Spigot, Paper, & all forks
Set enforce-secure-profile=false in server.properties
Bungeecord
Set enforce_secure_profile: false in config.yml
Velocity
Set force-key-authentication = false in velocity.toml
oh sorry didn't read too well
is this the error?
It's okay I can be complicated when I'm explaining things ๐
You leveled up to level 4!
Yes
This is the error he got
And this is the error I'm getting
hovering over that message reveals some more information
Damn
That's the reason why I couldn't finish the escape room map
Why'd they expect me to assume that I'll get something if I hover over that message
Server sent invalid message.
Anyone alive?
@hearty trench sorry for pinging u, ik ur busy a lot, but I guess this would never be solved if you didn't get bored of me. I saw 3 more people mentioned this same problem and idk how they fixed it. Can you help?
!!ping I just wouldn't have pinged to begin with, it is what it is tho, I'm pretty sure this is a client rejecting the message more than the server, can bedrock players see other bedrock player's messages?
- Only use the support channels if you need help. Please do not ping or DM project staff & helpers if you need support. We all have lives outside of Geyser and it may take some time for us to respond. With that being said, please don't ask for support in non-support channels as well.
Please read the rules in #rules-and-info
Yes they can, but it never happened before on ur previous versions
Also, if you know about the DiscordSRV bot, it logs their messages and sends them in the server-chat channel
It's likely a java client issue then, not much Geyser can do with it if I recall
