I can only connect using my local IP, using my IPv4 ip does not let me connect and i have properly port forwarded and everything.

Please share a screenshot of your portfoward configuration and a dump

Run geyser dump (server console) / /geyser dump (ingame chat) on your Geyser instance or server, then copy the link it will give you and paste it here. A Geyser dump is a way of providing us with a bunch of useful information about your server and Geyser config. This doesn't include any IPs or sensitive data.

I can do a dump soon when I’m home

Bedrock doesn't like remapping ports like that, you will need to change the broadcast port in the geyser config (which will break internal network connections to the server) or use the same port all the way through from geyser to external

stark marlin
#

What does that mean

#

I am using the same port

#

19132

Ah sorry my bad I was mis reading it

Can you connect using your external ipv4 to the java side?

stark marlin
#

Yes

#

I can connect using my 10.0.0.226 IP which is my local IP on the bedrock side

hollow beacon
#

Do you mind sharing the IP and doing /ping in here?

stark marlin

Yes

Hm

hollow beacon
#

So should be working then

#

Potentially your router is just not letting you connect back to your own public IP for bedrock

stark marlin
#

Actually yes my host IP is working now, However my playit.gg connection is not

hollow beacon
#

You don't need playit if you can port forward

stark marlin
#

Yes, but I like the ddos protection/IP protection it provides and TCPShield does not do that for a reasonable cost

hollow beacon
#

That looks ok but not sure why it's not working, maybe worth setting up the tunnel program again

stark marlin
#

So my Local IP and my IPv4 let me connect via bedrock however when using my dedicated IP purchased from playit.gg I cannot connect?

#

Okay i can try that again

hollow beacon
#

You also don't need to port forward if your using playit.gg

stark marlin
#

Yes but it doesnt hurt me and its easy for me to port forward
