This error is probably caused by a connection error. Upload your logs with http://mclo.gs/ and paste the URL here.
If you are getting this error on a proxy server such as Velocity or BungeeCord, check your backend server logs for errors.

Possible problems:
enable-proxy-protocolshould ONLY be enabled if you run a reverse UDP proxy in front of Geyser.

Unknown fix!

okay, but the problem won't improve
check the backend server for errors
it doesn't get any errors on the backend servers it is only velocity get errors
did you restart the server after disabling "enable-proxy-protocol"?
yes but it says this
[22:37:11 INFO] [geyser]: TryHardKoala614 (logged in as: TryHardKoala614) connected to the Java server
[22:37:11 INFO] [geyser]: TryHardKoala614 disconnected from the Java server because the connection was closed.

!!dump let's see a new geyser dump
Run geyser dump (server console) / /geyser dump (ingame chat) on your Geyser instance or server, then copy the link it will give you and paste it here. A Geyser dump is a way of providing us with a bunch of useful information about your server and Geyser config. This doesn't include any IPs or sensitive data.
Possible problems:
- You aren't on the latest Geyser version! Please download the latest version.

!!logs lets see a log from the proxy, and from the backend server where the player is not able to connect to
An entire log file is a very useful way of debugging any issues with plugins. Sometimes a snippet of a log doesn't tell the whole story!
You can upload your log file into this channel, or you can use https://mclo.gs/ to censor all IPs present in your log.
For BungeeCord (not Waterfall) there is a proxy.log.0 file in the root and for everything else it is latest.log in logs folder.

that doesnt look like the full log from the backend server
further, try removing viaversion/viabackwards from the proxy, and only installing it on the backend server
[22:56:35 INFO] [geyser]: TryHardKoala614 (logged in as: TryHardKoala614) has connected to the Java server
[22:56:35 INFO] [geyser]: TryHardKoala614 has disconnected from the Java server because of End of stream
I have viaversion/viabackwards from proxy remove
"end of stream" is a different one, gonna need to see full server logs from proxy/backend again

this shows that you still have viaversion/viabackwards on the proxy though
!!plugindebugging okay, probably a plugin issue - try the steps below
If you have a possible plugin interfering with Geyser or Floodgate, follow these steps to find the culprit plugin:
- Temporarily remove/move half of your plugins from your server's plugins folder.
- If the problem persists, remove another half.
- If the problem goes away, swap that half of your plugins with the other half.
- Keep repeating this pattern, this time with the half that exhibits the problem, until you find your problematic plugin.
only on the proxy?
I only have floodgate and geyser in proxy and lobby, it still says End of Stream
!!logs please share new logs

are 1.21 Java clients able to connect to that server?
if I use viaversion yes
xd okay you need to keep viaverison on the backend server, geyser also emulates a 1.21 Java client
although odd that it didnt display any version mismatch message.. and it does look like the player is reaching the backend server
What should I do now?
Try to disable use-direct-connection in geysers config, restart, and see what happens (and also, install viaversion on the backend server again)
it is also odd that floodgate on the proxy isnt printing anything
[23:33:47 INFO]: [connected player] TryHardKoala (/91.180.157.182:53400) has connected
[23:33:47 INFO]: [server connection] TryHardKoala -> lobby has connected

not going to lie, no earthly idea what's going on here
okay then I will wait for another developer
auth-type: floodgate
Are you able to use a port that is not 25565? For geyser
Since you installed floodgate on the backend you did the steps like copy key from proxy to backend floodgate folder and set the send data in the floodgate config.yml right?
yes
I set the port to 19507 in Geyser, then the berock does not respond at all
You did enable udp on that port right?
what is udp?
That's the protocol that bedrock uses to connect to your server. Java Minecraft uses tcp (25565) default bedrock udp (19132) default. Just make sure that the port that you set for bedrock has either both protocols or udp for bedrock.
I used a ddos protection that already has bedrock port 19507, should I set it?
Mind telling me what kind of ddos protection? It's possible that that is causing your issue, since something is messing up the login sequence since the proxy never signs you in as a floodgate players
Resilient Minecraft DDoS protection to keep your network safe from DDoS attacks. Remote Shield allows full Remote Protection or IP transit with inline mitigation through GRE/IPIP tunnels. Our On Premise Shield gives you full control over mitigation and is custom developed.
we have a premium package because it includes a bedrock backend
try without it? if it works without it, ask them for how to set it up properly
For the future, please mention such things
I'll quickly set up a bungee and lobby and test it
okay it depends on neoprotect on the test it works in any case thanks for the help
Np
I have a similar problem, "End of stream" keeps coming up and kicks out a lot of players
is there a way to fix it?
