#Trying to use geyser when I have TCP shield through pebblehost

Hi, so I am having some annoying issues. I currently have geyser and floodgate installed and no matter the configuration, it refuses to connect when I type in "geyser connectiontest <ip>:<port>"

No error message or anything. Just that it can't reach the outside world. If you want to peep my config file, just let me know here or send me a message. I will post some relevant information below.

Host: PebbleHost (Shared Plan)
Current DDoS Protection/Proxying plugins: TCPShield provided by PebbleHost
Minecraft Version: PaperSpigot 1.21

If you need any more info I will be happy to provide it. I just want to make an all inclusive server for Bedrock and Java!

# spice sun Sorry, forgot to upload the dump. Here it is: https://dump.geysermc.org/dmhrIWa2...

Possible problems:

  • use-proxy-protocol should ONLY be enabled if either of these apply:
        1. Your server supports PROXY protocol (this has nothing to do with if you're using BungeeCord or Velocity).
        2. You have the exact same option enabled in your BungeeCord/Velocity config (it is off by default).
  • Your server is running inside a docker container, please make sure the Geyser port (using UDP) is exported out to the host. If you're using Pterodactyl panel then you need to make sure you have allocated the port to the server.
  • You aren't on the latest Geyser version! Please download the latest version.

given that the tcpshield plugin seems to not be enabled.. you should contact tcpshield first

Ohh that makes sense. If I have the TCPShield plugin, do I need an account with them? If so, I do not have one.

Not sure.

Alright, well that may be my issue then. I will remove the plugin to test it and if that does work then I will contact TCPShield. Thank you.

Unless pebblehost somehow also provides that.. idk. You'd have to ask them about what's included
