Able to join on bedrock now, unable to join on java.

after setting up geyser and floodgate on my spigot server i am able to join with bedrock on my phone etc. But i get a time out error when trying to connect to the server with java. I am sure that all the proper ports have been forwarded to allow for java players to join and i have no idea why the server is doing this.

If so Geyser has nothing to do with that

What do you think it could be. I have all the proper ports forwarded. I have another server on the pc that has regular mc server and it works fine.
