That could work as well. You could look at the list based on size, points or other metrics. Server needs to be included as well.

He was joking. There already is an alliance highscore in game.
Click Highscore and at the very top you can change from the default player to alliance and see all on your server.

As to your suggestion, this discord has all communities gathered, so the sheer number of alliances would make it unfeasible to have such a list.
