If they’re pre lubed then I will only lube the bottom housing and spring, but if they’re dry then I will lube everything besides the top housing.
Yeah with a lot of switches becoming prelubed it’s why I switched to the method I do
I also tend to be a little heavy handed so it helps from keeping my switches sluggish
If pre lubed, nothing. Otherwise, I lube everything - bottom housing, spring, stem, top housing (only where the stem contacts)
I stopped lubing the top housing because I didn’t notice to much of a difference when comparing between lubed and unlubed top housings. There are exceptions though because if I have creams or mx blacks I will lube the top housings.
Me too
I just lube the stems and springs cause I tend to be heavy handed with lube
On linears:
With 205/204I lube the stem sliders and legs. Springs are usually 106 lubed tx
Tactiles:
3203 &204 on bottom housing only. I'll also throw in 106 lubed tx
Films are only used if the top and bottom housings chatter
Just don't lube and be lazy, get prelubed
2 switches at a time
I just dip the whole stem in XHT-BDZ..
valid
I tend to do bottom housing, stem, and spring. In regards to stems, I lube the legs if it's linear, but I don't if it's tactile.
