Hello guys, maybe someone can help me verify/reproduce this bug permanently.
-Sometimes it happens that I can't open my inventory (or anything else from this screen like talent-tree etc).
-Neighter could I use place (like seeds for harvesting/trees) on the ground as long as this happens.
-The functions will return after some time ingame (it seems randomly disappear and reappear < at least after sleeping it's fixed everytime for me).

Now some information that could (like I said, I'm still trying to figure it out more precisely) trigger this effects (or what I'm at least playing)
-I'm using the toggle to permenently ceep running.
-Perhaps it happens if you move from a working area (like the sawmill etc) without closing it first.
-I'm not very far in the game (until now it happend on tavern level 2 + 3 already).
-It could happen with to many interactions in a short time after each other (like closing and reopening a crafting-window instantly to lose less time).
-I'm mostly using my mouse to handle the customer-service (cleaning and serving food).
-add: I prefer to place items on the ground directly via double clicking on them (means I don't "use" the building-tool/button first).

This happened to me a few times! I didn't take detailed notes as the OP but I wanted to add that while this was happening, I could still access my inventory by opening the chest (but not talent tree or quest, as OP mentioned). Hope this gives the dev a little more insight 🤷

I have had similar issues not being able to open anything, using H or I, or otherwise-
Unless I press ESC to go to the main menu, and then return. After that it usually returns to normal. Have not done any experiments with it trying other ways of opening Inv.

I've found it's an issue when going between build mode, tavern sight and normal mode

I found the trigger for me! Opening the order chest does it

I am not 100% certain, but I think whichever crafting-station/inventory that causes the bug needs to be reopened and closed to fix it.

I have had a similar problem sporadically. If I craft a lot, I am unable to access my inventory to move things to my hot bar though I can use things in my hot bar. The work around is going to a chest, opening it, and then moving things from inventory to hot. On rarer occassions, I cannot access the delivery bins to pick up items I ordered. The problem resolves itself when I go to bed and save the day.

This also happened to me when I switched between decoration mode and normal while also placing something
