I made a suggestion a few hours ago about removing airports in c4.

Just wanted to see if anyone would like to discuss why they should stay (it is at 12 down votes currently)

The way I see it airports are a massive contributing factor to making this game BORING, as it allows coalitions to safezone easily within the first 24-48 hours and have constant back up from 1-3 other alliances when a counter push is made.

From both a winning and losing side I have experienced no long term benefits of airports as basically all c4’s I’ve been in except the rare few end in the first week with one team safezoning the other, and then fighting 4v1,2,3,4 every time any counter push is made.

Just want to understand why people think they should be kept.

I mean in the current state of C4's everything takes so long to get to. Think about the current toc where it can take up to an hour going from top right corner to mid right. People do not want to take that long of a journey.
You could take the system from the previous toc to kinda give a chance to the teams. (Airlift Permit system)

I think C4 should reduce personal tech to balance the playing field when your in S1 facing opponents with 150M tech it takes away the thrill

Airports is cool, its fun, its allowe some strategy moves

& For airport works " more risk - more reward" which is always cool gameplay

Personally me RN playing in pretty balanced C4 where we push enemy only cuz of aggressive airports and fast removing enemy airports
