This topic is appearing over and over and I am experiencing it myself. It wasn't so noticeable or a big deal UNTIL I got to the big-ass castle. I can't find my way through this place when I keep running to missing squares on the map thinking they could be the way forward, only to find they are dead ends that didn't load on the map until I was literally on top of that spot again. PLEASE address this persistent issue ASAP.
Game is great, btw.

It's not bug. Just turn in the region map to Gerald.
The missing map squares are a bug. Again, they reappear when you physically walk back to that location. The pieces (squares) were randomly deloading or something.
