Smoke bugged across several areas

From the witch tree to old Wickham I have pepper's smoke screen effect. I can't complete like 2 entropy portals because I can't see, and just doing my regular stuff at base or exploring is frustrating.

Is there a quick fix expected this week so we don't have to wait another week for the 1.8 update?

The current patch did not solve the problem on PS5.
