#Respec Should respec Starting Attributes

Either by manual selection, or the Respec should select your attributes based on the first 'Main Class Talent' you pick up. Since if you started as Vanguard, and then respec into a Spellbinder, you will start with 0 Power, and 1 Knowledge, compared to 8 Power and 12 Knowledge if you started as it.

You respec points, not classes. That would be a whole different thing.

i am simply arguing that the attribute points should follow along with it

That would be good, but that is a whole character reset. To accomplish that then the character would not "be" of a given class as he is now, it would be pure point allocation, and the game is designed towards certain tree selection. It's nice to be able to fix a bad choice and explore other stuff for sure.

and if you instead pick Spellbinder first, you get that spread

#

But you already arent of a 'given class' once you respec, lets take Elden Ring as an example, this isnt a problem there, because you will add so many points by the end of it that the points wont matter

#

but here, those level up points are spread between 'fixed' stats on the path, and the varying talents that you need, so your points is much more limited
