PS5 SAVE DATA LOST

i started the game, got to the necromancer then quit the game to let my brother play, he started and played until the necromancer as well then quit and i loaded my character, played for 5 hs and i wanted to take a break so i waited for the game to save and then quit, the game froze there, waited for 5 mins or so then closed the app, i was worried so i checked my save file and it was there just before the necromancer just like when i started my gaming sesion

We are sorry for this issue. It is now fixed in the most recent patch on PS5.

I have the same problem 😅 I was to the necromacer, the game updated and I’m back to level 5 (level 20 before update 😱).

Are you on PS5 too? When did this happen in your case?

I quit the game yesterday and today when I was back, the PS5 warned me about the update of the game, I launched it and I pressed “continue” and I was level 5….

Sorry you had to experience it as well. Your lost progress cannot be restored, unfortunately. It seems you were affected by the bug that the patch fixed and so it should prevent loss of your further gameplay. We're keeping an eye on additional player feedback to be safe, hence my original question.
