I've played the demo for 2 hours and I intend to play more. I like the design, the gameplay and the background.

  1. For me the game is a bit laggy or sluggish and this makes dodging at the right time difficult. Ok, my pc is a little old, but I've tried it on Lenovo Legion Go which is quite powerful and the problem remained.

  2. The enemies are kind of hard cause they need many hits to beat. Even harder are the mini bosses like the wolf and the rat, which not only need a good strategy and dodging (which feels laggy as I said), but they kill you with only 2 hits! Unfortunately I don't have all day to keep battling the same enemy again and again.

That's it for now. I'll come back with more as I keep playing.

This sounds weird to me to be honest. What do you mean by laggy? The action happens to late comapred to when you pressed the button?

#

Because in normal cases that should be instantenious

Are you perhaps playing with a blutooth controller?

No. It's a wired Xbox controller which I use on my pc games. Maybe the fault I see (and I call it lag) is that every action (hit, jump, run, turn) has a specific duration and in that duration you can't cut this action by dodging. I mean the dodge doesn't cut the previous action, so you seem stuck until that action completes. That time is enough for the enemy to hit you and at the same time to lose the 1/4 or 1/3 of your life!

Please tell me that in the final version you can choose a difficulty setting!

So it's that there isn't attack cancel into dodge/roll?

I don't think it's designed to have attack cancel
