Pokemon Black/White 1/2 was the last time anything in the series was peak

The problem is that I am not willing to play the first game unless I can somehow have Reshiram and White Forest in the same game.

I was able to find a hacky method to fix this simply with an Action Replay's ability to inject and dump save files:

You play White and save within (or after you've visited) White Forest, and then take your save file and inject it into Black and load it there. When you load the save file in Black, you'll still have White Forest without Black City. Due to how Black City and White Forest work, it's entirely governed by save file data. While it's glitchy it does work.

Sadly I do not own an Action Replay and have not owned Black or White in a long time

gonna let you in on a secret, the dns trick allows you to get event pokemon. you can get an event reshiram and be in white

In Red/Blue it's guaranteed you'll do a glitch only playthrough without even trying because practically everything in those games is a glitch

But by gen 5 it's much harder

• Toys R Us, 150 winners got a Yoshira Mew, which when traded to a game with shinies and DV stuff relating to that was always a normal Mew
• Nintendo Power, 150 winners mailed their cartridges in to get a mew injected into it, these were also always normal Mews
• various small Japan-only contests and Game Boy Kiosk distributions, these were ALSO always normal Mews

The only way to get a Shiny Mew legitimately is to get the Old Sea Map in Emerald and shiny grind the Mew on the island the map let you go to. You could not get a shiny Mew prior to this or even afterward

That said!!!! The Old Sea Map was only distributed in Taiwan and Japan, but its data can be Gamesharked in.

Gen 3 got other Mew distributions but all of them were not shiny.

But then again, most event distributions were not shiny and could not be shiny unless specified in the event.

Gen 2 new York pokemon center celebi distribution had a chance to randomly give a shiny mew

Does anyone here know about moving data from SD cards on the switch?

I have a 512GB SD card in my switch 1 and I wanna use that 512 for my switch 2, downgrading the switch 1 to a 256GB SD.

I dont know much about transfers like that, and im worried about my save data on my pokemon games

you have to reformat the sd card when you move it into a new system

also switch 2 only takes micro sd express

you'll have to manually transfer software save data using the software sub menu

I’d recommend using Buyee to get stuff from Japan. It’s been a lifesaver for me. Or surugaya.

But yeah it sucks have niche favorites. Sableye stuff is either barely made or made for pokecenter events since it’s sorta kinda a mascot for it, so that’s always expensive. 😐

Impidimp merch is basically non-existent but I do have one plush of him that I adore.
